Holistic health is actually an approach to living life rather than a method of curing illness. The goal is to continuously balance the whole person to sustain optimal wellbeing, and it functions on a continuum moving toward higher levels of total health. Holistic health is based on the premise in natural law that the whole is comprised of interdependent parts: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual that integrate and interact. When one or two parts are not working well, it affects all the other parts. We are always interacting with our environment, and this is included in the general perspective.
